What is integrative medicine & health?

When it comes to alternative and complimentary medicine, functional health, and the like, many clinicians grasp at straws when attempting to integrate those various techniques and approaches into traditional models of care. On top of that, the evidence and research around these complementary forms of treatment varies widely, and it can be difficult to understand it and make decisions on the information available. But what is likely more important, is the need for open communication between clinicians from both sides of the spectrum to better inform each other’s practice to promote Better Outcomes.
