Do you use your organization’s mission, vision, & values?
I’m sure you hear about this topic all the time. But, if you’re like me, the mention of” Â “Mission, Vision, & Values” makes your eyes glaze over. I can’t count the number of seminars, conference keynotes, or corporate trainings I’ve sat through where this topic got covered. The problem I always saw with these sessions is that they stay too high-level. They fall short of practical application.
In this episode, I speak with Trish Williams, an Occupational Therapist and consultant who works with other OTs to help build profitable, scalable businesses. Her work involves establishing organizational mission, vision, and values. As I mention in my book Better Outcomes: A Guide to Humanizing Healthcare, this work should not only take up space on the website or office walls. An organization’s mission, vision, and values hold real, strategic and operational implications for both the customers/clients and the staff of the organization. They should drive decisions made at the organization, both on the marketing and business development side as well as the operational. In this episode, Trish unpacks how she guides clients through mission, vision, values work that lays the foundation for profitable, scalable businesses.
What we cover in this Episode:
- The importance of starting with a solid business strategy
- How mission, vision, and values can drive Business Development and marketing efforts
- Using those 3 components to foster strong, sustainable healthcare organizations
- Selling a Practice by following one’s core values
- Building resilient healthcare business built on sustainable strategy
- Achieving Better Outcomes through following mission, vision, and values

Work With Me
If you’re ready to craft a strategy to help your organization bring in more clients, retain them throughout their course of care, and create uniquely impactful patient experiences, then reach out. I’d love to talk with you about how Rehab U Practice Solutions can help.
What I can help you do:
✅ Train your staff and clinicians to be able to confidently communicate the value your organization provides…
✅ Leverage best practices, new technology, telehealth, and marketing/messaging to maximize patient engagement & retention…
✅ Develop a system that keeps patients & clients happy, engaged, and satisfied throughout the entire process of care…
I help you not only craft marketing messages & campaigns that build that know, like, & trust value you need to convert leads into scheduled clients; but I also work with your clinicians and staff to make sure that, once a patient decides to schedule an appointment, you have a system setup that keeps them happy, engaged, and satisfied throughout the onboarding, treatment, and discharge process.
In short, I’ll help your whole organization become focused on the most important thing in healthcare: people – the people who work for your organization, and the people who your organization treats and serves.
