Have you considered acquiring a private healthcare practice?

As a private healthcare practice grows and plans for expansion, or as larger healthcare organizations look for growth and revenue, targeted acquisitions frequently play a role in that growth strategy. Especially for private healthcare practice owners who started a practice organically, purchasing or acquiring additional practices or locations can seem like an overwhelming proposition. In fact, when I purchased ProActive, I quickly realized the complexity and nuances involved in putting together this type of deal. So, where do you begin? What pieces of data or information do you based an offer on? What metrics do you want to see when evaluating a potential acquisition of a private healthcare practice?

In this episode, I sit down with Mike Piekutoski from Physical Therapy Brokers to talk about the ins and outs of acquiring a private healthcare practice. Mike has worked on both the buy and sell side of the equation working in mergers and acquisitions in the private physical therapy practice space.

What we cover in this Episode:

  • The 3 main questions sellers may have when selling their private healthcare practice
  • Evaluating simple operational changes that may provide quick ROI following an acquisition
  • Understanding the financial metrics that drive the valuation of a private healthcare practice
  • Ensuring that there is a culture fit between the acquiring and acquired private healthcare practice
  • Planning for key employees and retention following the acquisition
  • How to maintain growth and culture as you scale to multiple locations in your private healthcare practice

Work With Me

RafiIf you’re ready to craft a strategy to help your organization bring in more clients, retain them throughout their course of care, and create uniquely impactful patient experiences, then reach out. I’d love to talk with you about how Rehab U Practice Solutions can help.

What I can help you do:

✅ Train your staff and clinicians to be able to confidently communicate the value your organization provides…

✅ Leverage best practices, new technology, telehealth, and marketing/messaging to maximize patient engagement & retention…

✅ Develop a system that keeps patients & clients happy, engaged, and satisfied throughout the entire process of care…

I help you not only craft marketing messages & campaigns that build that know, like, & trust value you need to convert leads into scheduled clients; but I also work with your clinicians and staff to make sure that, once a patient decides to schedule an appointment, you have a system setup that keeps them happy, engaged, and satisfied throughout the onboarding, treatment, and discharge process.

In short, I’ll help your whole organization become focused on the most important thing in healthcare: people – the people who work for your organization, and the people who your organization treats and serves.
