How do you successfully implement a Remote Therapeutic Monitoring Program in an Outpatient Clinic?
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I’m a believer in hybrid healthcare, leveraging technology to innovate the way clinicians deliver services. Recent changes from CMS, creating new CPT codes, and technology now allow for Remote Therapeutic Monitoring. Yet, simply having the ability to implement virtual healthcare service delivery doesn’t guarantee success. It takes some understanding & knowledge about the process of delivering care, and also the ability to train & onboard both team members and patients.
So, this week, I sit down with Matt Juke, DPT, to talk about Remote Therapeutic Monitoring. Matt has been on the front lines, developing protocols and templates, and helping client organizations start RTM programs int heir clinics. He saw the potential for RTM to transform the way therapists deliver care, and spent a year diving into the regulations & the data. In this conversation, he shares insights from the billing aspect all the way to the implementation of RTM programs.
What we cover in this Episode:
- The value in obtaining consulting services to develop RTM programs
- Training & Onboarding staff & patients on RTM platforms and workflows
- Billing considerations for RTM CPT
- Leveraging data from RTM to justify services and demonstrate value
- Focusing on patient-centered care and patient engagement through innovation and digital healthcare
- Achieving Better Outcomes through innovation
We’re starting to create videos of certain podcast episodes, including this episode, which can find on the YouTube Channel.
